Creating your first quiz on Quizora is straightforward and takes just a few minutes. This guide covers everything from initial setup to publishing your quiz and inviting participants.
Step 1: Access the Quiz Creator
- Log into your Quizora account
- Navigate to your Dashboard
- Click the "Create Event" button
Step 2: Choose Your Quiz Type
Quizora offers several quiz formats to suit different needs:
Live Quiz
Real-time interactive quiz where you control the pace and reveal questions one by one. Perfect for quiz nights and live events.
Self-Paced Quiz
Participants can complete the quiz at their own speed. Great for training, assessments, or when participants are in different time zones.
Step 3: Basic Quiz Information
Fill in the essential details for your quiz:
Required Information
- Quiz Title: Choose a clear, engaging name (e.g., "Friday Night Trivia", "Company Knowledge Quiz")
- Description: Brief explanation of what the quiz covers
- Date & Time: When you plan to host the quiz (for live quizzes)
- Difficulty Level: Help participants know what to expect
Step 4: Add Quiz Questions
You have two main options for creating questions:
Option A: AI-Generated Questions
Let Quizora's AI create questions for you based on topics you specify:
- Click "Generate with AI"
- Enter your topics (e.g., "Movies from the 1990s", "Basic Math", "Company History")
- Choose the number of questions (10-50 depending on your plan)
- Select difficulty level and question types
- Click "Generate Questions"
Option B: Manual Question Creation
Create questions yourself for complete control:
- Click "Add Question Manually"
- Enter your question text
- Add answer options (2-6 options supported)
- Mark the correct answer(s)
- Optionally add an explanation for the answer
- Repeat for each question
Step 5: Configure Quiz Settings
Customize how your quiz behaves:

- Your quiz will be assigned a unique join code
